This role resides within the Retail Strategic Product Development Group in the Pharmacy Services Department. The Senior Consultant role is a vital contributor in the development of company-wide strategic service offerings and new business opportunities. The Senior Consultant will help manage new delivery initiatives that have a profound impact on the future direction of the company overall.
Specifically, the Senior Consultant will be engaged across all phases of new product/service development, with particular emphasis on solution ideation, design, and testing. This position is also involved in the planning, design and execution of pilot programs.
The ideal candidate will have strong independent leadership skills, as well as analytical and communication skills. In addition, the individual must be able to independently interact with and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders and demonstrate a consistence track record of delivering results.
In order of importance, list specific skills or talents that a qualified incumbent should possess (i.e., management of large staff, computer applications, subject knowledge, etc.) Superior analytical skills, quantitative skills and problem solving skills 1+ year of consulting or related experience required High level of independent judgment and initiative required Ability to communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, logical and consistent Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization Advanced skills with spreadsheets, databases and presentation software, including a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint Highest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines. Bachelor’s Degree from a top-tier university.
